You are the read head, clearing every fragment off a platter while four corrupted processes chase you through the tracks. Grab a defrag tool and for a few seconds they run from you instead.

Boot Sequence

The board beeps its way through POST and you beep it back. One more tone every round, and it gets faster as you go. The four pads are named after the beep codes a real desktop gives you.
